The amount of police raids on commercial cannabis farms has fallen by over 17% within the closing year, Freedom of Data figures suggest.
Jamie Barnes, from Dagenham, used to be convicted in 2015 of cannabis cultivation after he grew the drug in his council flat. He used to be given a suspended sentence and probation. He told the Victoria Derbyshire programme he used to be more afraid about the chance of being robbed by fellow criminals than being caught by police.
